15 Jun The launch of the Spectrum Project

The kick-off meeting of the European-funded project SPECTRUM was held on the 15th of June 2022, by videoconference. It was the first occasion where the 5 partners, coming from different backgrounds and countries, could meet, get to know each other and plan the first activities of the project.
The ambitious project aims to enhance the diffusion and market penetration of Quantum Computers, increasing their scalability and reducing the production costs. This would be possible thanks to a patented field-effect switch based on superconducting materials, which will substitute most of the components that make the QCs bulky and complex architectures.

SPECTRUM has a duration of 36 months, with a total budget of ca. 2.5 Million euro funded by the European Union.
